Jeni L. Burnette
Jeni L. Burnette is an Associate Professor of Psychology at North Carolina State University. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina and completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her research applies social psychological theories and methodological approaches in order to help individuals and organizations to flourish. Her work primarily focuses on mindsets, or beliefs about the malleable vs. fixed nature of attributes. She studies mindsets across contexts, domains, and experiences. Her work has been published in a range of journals including Psychological Bulletin; Psychological Science; Journal of Personality and Social Psychology; Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice; Work, Aging, and Retirement; Journal of Leadership Studies, and Policy Insights from Behavioral and Brain Sciences.
