Dr. Jennifer Duncan

Trans woman, Mathematician, Cat Enthusiast (she/her)

About me

I am a postdoctoral maths researcher working in harmonic analysis. My research is in multilinear geometric inequalities, and I am interested primarily in Brascamp--Lieb, Fourier restriction, and Maximal functions.

I did my masters at the University of Warwick, obtained my PhD in early 2022 from the University of Birmingham under the supervision of Professor Jonathan Bennett, and am currently a postdoc working at the ICMAT in Madrid.

I'm an organiser for QuMA 2024 (Queer and Trans in Mathematical Analysis). It's a 3-day workshop to take place at the BCAM in Bilbao from the 12-14th of June aiming to bring together and highlight the work of Queer mathematicians, and to discuss more broadly the issues that marginalised people face in mathematics. If you want to see more information then follow the link here.
