Currently, I am a research officer at the Center for Transformative Garment Production (TransGP), and a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), under the supervision of Dr. Pan Jia.
Before that, I worked at the Robotic and Machine Intelligence Lab, and obtained my Ph.D. degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, under the supervision of Dr. David Navarro-Alarcon.
In 2021, I worked as a visiting Ph.D. student at Robotics, Perception and Learning Lab, KTH, under the supervision of Prof. Danica Kragic. Furthermore, I also worked with Dr. Jihong Zhu, Prof. Andrea Cherubini and Prof. Pai Zheng.
I enjoy research at the intersection of Robotics, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision applied to problems in Robotic Manipulation.
Prior to PolyU, I have one and a half years with Tencent as an algorithm engineer working on Advertisement Recommendation System, and one year with Discover Financial Service as a senior data analyst on collection strategy.
Before that, I received my Master's degree from the School of Software Engineering, Tongji University in 2017 with The Outstanding Graduate honor, under the supervision of Prof. Yan Liu. During SEKE2016, I visited Stanford Robotics Lab, which has sparked my passion for robotics since then.
Interests: Robot Learning, Deformable Object Manipulation, and Robot Vision.
