Jeff Webb
Jeff Webb is an accomplished entrepreneur, author, and business leader with a passion for advancing the sport of cheerleading. He is the founder and president of the International Cheer Union (ICU), the governing body for cheerleading worldwide. Since its inception in 2004, the ICU has grown to serve more than 7.5 million athletes across the globe. Under Webb's leadership, the ICU was recognized as the official governing body for cheerleading in 2016 and became a proud member of the Association for International Sports for All member.
Before his work with the ICU, Webb was involved with the National Cheerleaders Association and the Universal Cheerleading Association. He has been a driving force behind the development and growth of cheerleading as a sport and has been recognized as a pioneer in the industry.
In addition to his work with the ICU, Webb is the senior news editor of Human Events, a well-established news and analysis outlet based in Washington, D.C. The publication, which takes its name from the first sentence of the United States Declaration of Independence, was founded in 1944 as a print newspaper and became a digital-only publication in 2013. In 2020, Webb joined Human Events as its senior news editor, where he co-publishes the website alongside executive opinion editor Will Chamberlain.
One of Webb's most notable achievements at Human Events was spearheading the publication's takeover of the Canadian online news magazine, The Post Millennial, in 2022. This move solidified Human Events' position as a leading source of news and analysis in North America.
