Problem Statement
Two years ago, a startup firm unveiled a website to explore short films. This aids new learners in uploading short films as well as others who enjoy watching short films. It's a freemium model with a mobile-web experience as well as an iOS and Android version.
The company's marketing plan was to create a customer base by providing a free product, then evolve the feature set so that they could monetize a premium (paid) product.
At this point, the product has been well received and has a healthy user base of free users. They now need to design an experience that will allow users to subscribe and pay a monthly fee.
Business goals
Make it possible for new customers to upgrade to the paid package after completing the signup process.
Have the option for returning free users to upgrade to paying subscriptions both during the sign-in process and inside the product (once logged in).

18 - 24 years old
Very tech-savvy — they are on their phones for several hours a day
