The Jedi of the Old Republic have existed for thousands of years; aiming to bring peace and justice throughout the known Galaxy. Within the Order you will take your first steps into a much larger Galaxy as an Initiate. With time, dedication, and a little help from your Jedi allies, you will climb the ranks of the Jedi Order and make your mark upon the Galaxy. The balance that exists between Light and Darkness has never been thinner. The War between Jedi and Sith has brought the Republic to it's knees. It is only in our darkest hour that a beacon of Hope shines brightest. The Jedi Order aims to provide that beacon. Will you help us?
I
Violence against another citizen of the Republic or Jedi Order is not permitted outside of self defense. Inciting violence will spark an investigation and the perpetrators involved will be brought before the Jedi Council or Republic Authorities.
II
Initiates must wear their assigned robes and may only use their training blade during their time as an Initiate. Once a lightsaber has been crafted, they may retire their training blade. This rule is in place for potential Jedi to leave behind their worldly values.
III
Initiates and Padawan's are not permitted to leave the Jedi Temple Grounds without permission or guidance from a Knight or above. Special circumstances may occur if announced by a Jedi Master or Council Member.
IV
No one other than the Jedi Council may enter the Council Chambers unless given express permission. Members caught doing so will be subject to disciplinary actions.
V
Jedi are not permitted to show romantic affection or physical intimacy. This goes against the guidelines of the Jedi and can lead down a dark path. Violators may be brought before the Council.
VI
Tradition is acknowledged by the Jedi Order and must be upheld. All Jedi must adhere to the hiarchy of the Jedi. If a superior Jedi of higher rank is present they must be addressed as such. (Master, Knight, Padawan.) Disrespect to a superior can be cause for dismissal or punishment (demotion, penalties during training, or relearning the basics).
A Character, not the Main Character
No Meta Gaming or God Modding. It is great to have vast dreams and want to prove yourself, but allow a spot for others to shine. You will have your time and plenty of moments to be seen as an amazing Jedi, but remember we are all here to write stories together and to grow as a community. It takes everyone working together, not just a single Hero. Respect others, dont demand a spotlight.
Be Kind
It probably goes without saying but be kind to one another. We are all here to play a game together and write amazing stories! No one wants to be bullied, talked down to, feel excluded or left out. While we are an adult guild and don't mind some foul language here and there, do not direct any anger or malice at another guild member or player. This includes players outside the guild. If our Guild Title is only your characters name, you are representing us in some form. If you are hazing players in general chat or being a bully to random players, you may be subject for removal.
Keep it clean and preferably in your pants
I dont like that this has to be listed, especially for an adult base guild. But keep the ERP private and away from the guild in all forms. If this is seen, hinted at, or affects guild affairs at all it will be grounds for removal for all parties involved. Mostly due to it causing drama, eventual drama, or rarely favoritism. We don't want to deal with any of it.
Avoid Sensitive Topics
We are all adults and can handle a normal subject change, but most of us do not come here to debate real life issues or politics. If you and another member are interested in this, take it to a private channel. While we trust that you are all even minded adults, we also understand that some subjects may spark heat between members. While we avoid some of these subjects, please don't think that we tolerate hate or abuse towards anyone of any race, background, or orientation. So please try to avoid sensitive topics that may spark debate (Religion, Politics, etc.)
The largest focus of the Order is the training and discipline of the Jedi. The Jedi Academy focuses on providing a home and training ground for all Jedi to learn and thrive in. While attending the Academy, Initiates and Padawans will partake in classes and learn under the Jedi Knights and Masters of the Order. The Academy also hosts many of the Trials that all Jedi undergo to ascend to higher ranks. Lastly, the Jedi Academy also holds the Jedi Council's meeting chambers. From there the Jedi Council meets for Order business and managing the Academy.
Recruit
You have taken your first steps into a much larger Galaxy. As a recruit you must attend your first initiation ceremony. Here you will learn about the Jedi Order, its ranking structure, rules, and be introduced to the Jedi Temple itself. Afterwards you will swear the oath of the Jedi and be welcomed officially into the Order as an Initiate.
Initiate
A Jedi Initiate is welcomed into the Academy and must attend classes. At this point in your training you are still bound to the Temple Grounds and can only leave with special permission or during approved missions. As a member of the Academy you will be given modest robes to wear and may only use the approved training blades for practice. Once you are ready you may start to take on the Padawan Trials.
Padawan
A Padawan within the Jedi Order has completed the initial trials and is now a Jedi learner; typically assigned to a Master or a group of fellow Padawans to proceed in their training. This time in a Jedi's life will be where they begin to choose their path as a Jedi. The different schools of the Jedi will begin to open up and the Padawan will begin to specialize in their training as a Jedi Guardian, Jedi Sentinel, or a Jedi Consular.
Jedi Knight
The Jedi has now graduated from the Academy and will take their first steps into the Galaxy as a full fledged Jedi. Jedi Knights report to the Jedi Council and may take on missions or assist with teaching in the Academy. They may also take on Padawan Learners, assisting in growing the numbers of the Jedi. A Jedi Knight has more freedoms and can choose the path they'd like to take on becoming a Jedi.
Jedi Master
A Jedi Master have experienced the Galaxy first hand and has given themselves fully to the Jedi Order. They have trained a Padawan learned to Knighthood and gone through many Trials to get to where they are today. Jedi Masters report only to the Council and take a large role in training Jedi or expanding the Order itself.
Jedi Grand Master
Axulri Greywalker
Jedi Council
Jedi Guardians
Jedi Guardians are the warriors and defenders of the Jedi Order. They specialize in combat and defense; often being seen on the front lines of battles. Their abilities in the Force are usually combat oriented and they often prioritize learning more Lightsaber Forms.
Jedi Sentinels
Jedi Sentinels are often described as "worldly" Jedi. While they can specialize in Force Forms and Lightsaber Forms the same way Guardians and Consulars can, they often approach their tasks in broader ways. Sentinels have access to technology, Republic Law, Investigative skills, and mechanical skills. They can also rely on stealth, combat, or social espionage to deal with nearly any kind of obstacle.
Jedi Consular
Jedi Consulars are masters of the Force and tend to have an affinity towards it. They specialize in its study and tend to focus on learning more abilities and Force Forms. They often work alongside Sentinels during archeological digs, while also exploring the ancient mysteries of the Galaxy and the Force.
