The JEDI GUYBRARIAN Galaxy Library
Meet Jedi Guybrarian Paul Warner. He's been an educator since 1997, and a Jedi since 1977. After working In classrooms and libraries In Evergreen Public Schools, Paul recently flew his x-wing to a new school district: Vancouver Public Schools, and began his new adventure as the teacher-librarian for TJ Middle School. In 2023, Paul was named Secondary Teacher of the Year for Middle Schools by the Washington Library Association.
The Jedi Guybrarian seeks to provide young people with all kinds of books and a safe, sacred place where they can freely be themselves and follow the Hero's Journey through life: he does this through school library work, and through this on-line library for the whole galaxy to come to learn and share. Jedi Warner's favorite event is READCON, a local school comicon he puts on annually with the help of students, teachers, parents, volunteers, and the great members of such organizations as the Star Wars 501st Legion, the Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, and DroidMakers. The READCON has been happening since 2011, and the next one is planned for the 2023-2024 school year at TJ Middle School.
The JEDI GUYBRARIAN Holocron is a YouTube Show that Jedi Warner has been sending out to the galaxy since 2020. At this link you will find all the videos he has produced so far, and more are on the way soon: JEDI GUYBRARIAN YOUTUBE CHANNEL
Episodes 1 thru 15 take you through the RISE OF SKYWALKER novel, and all episodes after that Involve both a variety of STAR WARS BOOKS and also NEW BOOKS for young people from many different genres.

May 25th (New Hope Anniversary) VanTalks event at Kiggins in downtown Vancouver,WA will feature a talk from Jedi Guybrarian Warner about the Passion for Star Wars & Sci-Fi/Fantasy leading to an Educational Purpose--and about all of us being on a mythical Hero's Journey in real life.
