While incarcerated J-Diggs started his time off in a Federal Prison in Southern California called Terminal Island. He gained much respect and notoriety in the prison as a Warrior and even more so as a rapper. In 1995 Diggs was shipped out for his leadership role in a violent prison riot that left convicts and prison officials injured. During his "Diesel Therapy" (solitary confinement & surprise prison switches from authorities) Diggs kept everything in stride while bouncing back and forth around the United States to Federal facilities like Louisburg PA, Lompoc Ca, Raybrook NY, El Reno Oklahoma, Fairington New Jersey, Allenwood, Mckean & Schuylkill Pennsylvania.

In 2010, he made an album with Rafael Casal titled The BAY BOY Mixtape. Diggs also founded a hip hop triumvirate with Chinaka Hodge and Casal known as The Getback.[28] The Getback later became a collaborative ensemble composed of Diggs, Hodge, Casal and other artists along with a band formed by drummer Chukwudi Hodge, turntablist Dion Decibels and Max Miller-Logan on trumpet and Keys. Though the band have diversified themselves from their work with the ensemble, they are still known as The GetBack (Get:Band) on Facebook.[29] Two years later, in 2012, he released his first solo rap album, Small Things to a Giant, composed of original music he had written. Both The BAY BOY Mixtape and Small Things to a Giant included other artists in The Getback collective.

Thizz Nation's President, J. Diggs slid through the Half-Baked Podcast to address his current beef with San Francisco rapper Messy Marv. Not long ago a video was posted to the internet of Messy Marv riding around Vallejo looking for J. Diggs in his neighborhood. In the video, kids are seen playing outside when Messy Marv allegedly gets out of his car holding a gun while yelling out, "WHERE J. DIGGS AT!?" Since, the video has gone viral and has the entire rap scene buzzing in the Bay Area. During the interview, J. Diggs explained what his initial reaction to the video was, & broke down how the entire beef started between the two Bay Area legends. Instead of "Taking it to the streets" Diggs went in the booth & responded back to Messy Marv with a diss record titled, "Where J. Diggs At." In the song, J. Diggs says he believes Messy Marv is on his "Tekashi 69 Hype" & is just craving for attention. While speaking on 69 in the interview, Diggs shared stories about the 10 years he served behind bars due to someone snitching on him, & did not shy away to say he has seen many people lose their life in prison for being a rat. He also praised his long time friend, the late Mac Dre (R.I.P) for not snitching on him years ago even though Mac Dre was completely innocent. Loyalty at it's finest! Ultimately, the Thizz Nation President feels that the only way the two could squash their beef, is if Messy Marv publicly apologizes.
Colbourn wasn't finished with Kristen and wanted to stay until morning. Diggs left on foot to procure aid. While he was away, Colbourn again tried to make Kristen orally copulate him. She refused, pushed him away, and got into the front seat where she put on her clothes. Colbourn again made advances but Kristen pushed him away and got out of the car. She ran to the nearest driveway. Colbourn caught her, hit her on the side of the head and pulled her by the hair back to the car.
Kristen was taken for a medical examination. It disclosed a bruise on the shoulder; tenderness, redness and swelling on the right side of the head; scrape on the left hip; four red marks on the back; tenderness of the jaw; and trauma-caused redness of the external genitalia. Semen was found in her vagina.
Diggs continued driving towards Rio Linda for 30 minutes. In the course of the trip all four occupants of the vehicle were drinking beer and smoking marijuana. Upon reaching Rio Linda, Diggs parked the car because he was tired of driving around. He backed up the vehicle into a cattle chute to keep the car out of the path of oncoming traffic.
As they sat in the vehicle drinking, Kathy left to relieve herself and was gone about five minutes. Kathy got back into the car and began kissing Colbourn. Kristen, meanwhile, told Diggs that she liked him and wanted to be with him, and said, "Maybe we can get something together." Kathy then said that she had to relieve herself again. She gave Colbourn a kiss that lasted 20 or 30 seconds and then got out of the car and did not return.
Apparently recognizing this state of affairs, and what it portended for his client, counsel for Diggs then took Colbourn on an extensive but sympathetic cross-examination. Boiled down to its essentials, Colbourn's testimony was that the girls were willing party participants, that they all consumed beer and marijuana, that they made no objection to parking, and that Kathy had let him kiss her. Kathy got out of the car to go to the bathroom and never came back.
Now, getting back to this issue of sex, it is interesting. In--what's his name--Somerset Maugham, was a marvelous dramatist, and I saw a show he wrote called The Moon at Sixpence, George Saunders played in it, one of the most amazing things ever written about a Frenchman who wanted to be an artist, I have forgotten his name, and Maugham, after he died--or during his life was a homosexual, and I don't want to go over the--the evidence too much, we went over it so many times that you know it by heart.

"Bookey Williams" was the leader of what was known at the time as "The East Side Crips". He was also a long time friend and associate of "OG Herry Diggs", Jamal's Late Grandfather. While locked up J-Diggs and Bookey became close friends and composed a plan to keep the Diggs family business alive. à With Bookey serving a life sentence, he desperately needed a connection to the streets - and quick. à Jamal Diggs would provide that support, in the form of a "Business Front". à In return Bookey would allow Jamal to start his own neighborhood chapter. à From Prison J-Diggs coordinated his plans to transform the operations of the Barber Shop through written letters to Justin Olson. à à With Justin laying the foundation, and Jamal learning the ways from Bookey - The à Mirror Park Crips became the first sub-set of the East Side Crips. It was raining the morning of March 3, 2016, as they headed north on Interstate 65. Adams said the driver was speeding and distracted on her phone. He had asked her to slow down. He was sleeping in the back seat, unrestrained, when he awoke to the thump-thump of the tires riding over rumble strips. But Adams somehow managed to doze off again. Shortly after that, the car started hydroplaning, then left the road and overturned.
Michael Leone, who lives along South Rainbow Boulevard, was awake and feeding his 6-month-old son when he heard a boom. Leone went to his backyard, where he could see the street. In an interview with ESPN, he said he saw someone still in the driver's seat of a Corvette and remembered music blaring. Leone said another man -- later determined to be a security guard at a nearby condo complex -- helped the driver to the side of the road.
Leone said he saw a black SUV pull up behind the accident scene, and then noticed a white car also parked not far away. He estimated 10 people were walking closer to the crash, and he remembered an officer telling one of the men to back up, and the man replied, "Oh, we are his friends, we know them."
A voice on the video, but off camera, tells police there is someone still in the car that's on fire. Two men -- the security guard and a passerby -- had tried to save Tintor, according to statements made to police, but she was pinned inside. Smoke and heat from the fire caused both men to back away.
Raiders players have had several brushes with the law involving driving in Las Vegas. In January, rookie cornerback Nate Hobbs pleaded guilty to a careless driving charge after a DUI charge was dropped. Prosecutors said Hobbs' blood alcohol level was 0.01%, under the Nevada legal limit. Hobbs also faced a separate reckless driving charge from earlier that month -- he was going 110 mph in a 65 mph zone -- for which he entered a no-contest plea and paid a $250 fine. Hobbs' incident came almost a year to the day after running back Josh Jacobs was arrested on suspicion of DUI in a single-car crash near the airport. He was never charged because his blood alcohol level was below the legal limit.
A representative from the NFLPA told ESPN the use of ride-sharing apps is promoted in annual team meetings. In 2010, the union began offering a driver service; the on-demand portion of the service was discontinued in 2019 after Uber and Lyft became popular. Players currently can secure a car service, with at least an hour's notice, by calling the 1-800 number on the back of their NFLPA membership card.
