Eligibility Criteria
The JDA Loan program was developed to address business disruption during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To be eligible for Round 3 of the JDA Loan Program the following criteria must be met:
Between 1 - 20 employees, as evidenced by the range of #employees submitted in your most recent occupation tax application.
Business must have physical location in Athens-Clarke County
Business must be current on their ACC or City of Winterville occupational tax, and have paid ACC or City of Winterville occupational tax for at least the past 2 years (2019 & 2020 or 2020 & 2021). Exemptions exist for nonprofits that do not provide products or services to the general public for a fee.
Agree to perform at least one Public Benefit Commitment (See Public Benefit Requirements)
Business must be a for profit or 501 C(3) non profit.
Business must have suffered from a COVID related loss of income
Business must not have received the maximum amount of $12,500 in a previous round of loans. If a business received less than the $12,500 maximum, they may apply for additional funds up to the $12,500 maximum.
