If you want a durable, multi-way carrying solution with a dedicated headphone port for your gaming gear while on the move, choose JCVOTREL Bass Fishing Wave; if you need high-quality wired audio with deep bass and a secure fit for your PS5 sessions, choose APETOO USB-C. This isn't a situation where both products do everything equally well. One is a bag designed to hold your electronics, and the other is an audio device designed to play them. Confusing the two is easy if you just glance at the titles, but the reality of what each item delivers is completely different. You are likely standing at a crossroads trying to decide which piece of gear will actually improve your setup, so let's cut through the noise and look at exactly who these items are built for based on their actual design and features.
• JCVOTREL Bass Fishing Wave: Its biggest strength is its versatility as a wearable storage unit that includes a headphone jack for immediate connectivity; its trade-off is that it is not an audio device itself and offers no sound quality, battery life, or driver performance.
• APETOO USB-C: Its biggest strength is its purpose-built audio engineering with aluminum alloy housing and deep bass capabilities for immersive listening; its trade-off is that it is a single-function earbud with no storage capacity or multi-way wearability.
• Who this is for: The JCVOTREL is for the gamer or traveler who needs to carry a tablet, notebook, or phone securely while keeping headphones accessible; the APETOO is for the user who prioritizes clear sound, hands-free calls, and a stable fit during long gaming or workout sessions.
The JCVOTREL Bass Fishing Wave is not a piece of audio equipment, yet it occupies a unique niche in the ecosystem of someone who games on a console like the PS5. It is fundamentally a waist bag, fanny pack, or crossbody messenger bag constructed from high-density polyester fiber. What makes it stand out for a specific type of user is the inclusion of a dedicated headphone hole. This feature allows you to route the cable from your wired headphones directly through the bag, keeping your hands free while you walk, hike, or travel. If you use wireless on ear headphones for ps5, this might seem less relevant, but for those of us who prefer the reliability of a wired connection without tangled cords hanging off our ears, this bag acts as a smart anchor point.
This product is ideal for the person who treats their gaming setup as part of a mobile lifestyle. Imagine you are taking your portable console or a tablet to a friend's house, or perhaps you are commuting and want to keep your music playing while your hands are busy. The bag measures 35x14 cm, which provides enough room for essentials like a tablet, notebooks, and light clothing. The adjustable belt accommodates waist sizes ranging from 51 cm to 80 cm, making it a one-size-fits-most option for men and women. You can wear it around your waist, across your chest, or over your shoulder using the quick-release buckle. This adaptability means you aren't locked into one style; you can shift from a hip bag for shopping to a chest bag for hiking or cycling without changing gear.
However, there is a clear reason why you should skip this product if you are looking strictly for sound. If your primary goal is to hear every footstep in a competitive shooter or feel the bass drop in a racing game, this bag will not help you achieve that. It is purely a container with a clever pass-through feature. It is also worth noting that the care instructions specify hand washing only, which is a practical consideration for anyone planning to use this in rough conditions or wash it frequently. If you are looking for a gadget that enhances your audio experience, this is not it. But if you are looking for a way to organize your gear and keep your wired headphones tangle-free while moving, it solves a genuine problem that standard bags do not address.

On the other end of the spectrum, the APETOO USB-C Wired Earbuds are designed with one singular, focused objective: delivering high-quality audio directly to your ears. These are in-ear headphones that come with a 3.5mm plug, though the title mentions USB-C, the core functionality described relies on the wired connection for power and signal transmission. The design philosophy here centers on comfort and durability during active use. The earbuds feature flexible soft wingtips, which are crucial for users who engage in workouts or simply need a secure fit while sitting on the sofa for hours. The instruction to replace the wingtips for the best listening experience suggests that the package includes multiple sizes to accommodate different ear shapes, ensuring that "small ear" users mentioned in the title can find a comfortable seal.
For the gamer specifically, the audio performance is the headline act. These earbuds promise pure stereo deep bass, a claim backed by the construction of the housing made from aluminum alloy. This material choice is significant because it adds resistance against sweat and rain water, making them suitable for intense gaming marathons where you might be sweating, or even for outdoor use. Inside the wire, the manufacturer has used oxygen-free copper wire encased in a thicker anti-dirt TPE sheath. This combination points toward longevity and flexibility, addressing the common failure point of cheap earbuds where the wire snaps near the connector after months of bending. The inclusion of a mini storage case is a thoughtful addition that protects the earbuds and any small adapters from dust and moisture when they are not in use.
The utility extends beyond just listening to music. These earbuds include a built-in high-quality microphone for hands-free calls. The inline control allows you to answer or hang up calls, play, pause, or skip tracks without having to pick up your device. This is particularly useful for the parent or student who needs to manage communication while keeping their hands free. However, the trade-off is clear: these are wired earbuds. They require a physical connection to your source device. While this ensures zero latency and no battery anxiety, it does limit your mobility compared to a truly wireless set. If you are looking for the freedom of movement that comes with a Bluetooth headset, these wired units might feel restrictive. Yet, for those who prioritize sound fidelity and hate the idea of charging another device, the APETOO offer a robust, reliable alternative. They are best suited for the user who wants a durable, high-performance audio solution for home, office, school, or gaming, and who values the stability of a wired connection over the convenience of wireless.
When you break down the specific needs of a shopper, the choice becomes much clearer because these two products serve entirely different functions in your daily routine.

• Best for reducing cable tangles on the go → JCVOTREL Bass Fishing Wave. By routing the headphone cable through the bag, it keeps the cord managed rather than dangling.
I would buy the APETOO USB-C Wired Earbuds if my goal was to finally get a reliable pair of headphones for my PS5 that doesn't require constant charging or suffer from connection drops. In my opinion, the aluminum alloy build and the promise of deep bass make it the superior choice for anyone who cares about the actual audio experience. It addresses the core need of a gamer: hearing the game clearly and comfortably.
Conversely, I would recommend the JCVOTREL Bass Fishing Wave only if I were already planning a trip, a hike, or a day out where I needed to transport my console, a tablet, and my headphones all in one place. It is a fantastic organizational tool, but it cannot replace the earbuds themselves. If you are torn between buying a bag or buying audio gear, the answer depends entirely on whether you lack a place to put your things or lack the ability to hear them properly. For most people asking about "best earbuds for ps5," the APETOO is the logical purchase. For those asking about how to carry their gear more efficiently, the JCVOTREL is the answer. Both have merit, but they solve different problems.
The APETOO earbuds use a 3.5mm plug which connects directly to devices with a headphone jack.
Yes, the bag's large pocket is designed to accommodate daily necessities including tablets and notebooks, so a controller and a pair of wired headphones would easily fit inside alongside other small essentials.
The product information specifies that the housing is sweat and rain water resistant, but it does not provide specific cleaning instructions beyond the general advice of using the included storage case to prevent dirt and dust accumulation.
