More About the JCB 4 Youth Community
JC Broadus Center for Youth Advocacy, Inc. (JCB 4 YOUTH) is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to healing, empowering, and protecting youth and families impacted by trauma, violence, and systemic inequities. Our mission is to create safe, supportive spaces where young people can heal, develop resilience, and thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
Through innovative, culturally responsive programming, JCB addresses critical issues such as youth gun violence, emotional wellness, and community instability. Our work includes trauma-informed youth advocacy, violence prevention initiatives, creative and music-based therapeutic practices, mentorship, family support services, and community education. A cornerstone of our work is the RAVAGE Program, which focuses on reducing gun violence by helping youth process trauma, build emotional regulation skills, and develop positive life pathways.
We collaborate with schools, families, faith-based organizations, and community partners to deliver meaningful, sustainable impact—meeting youth where they are and supporting the whole family.
