My name is Jalen, and I am a senior at Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox, Illinois. I have a strong interest in becoming a college athlete at the next level. I am passionate about football and wrestling and am eager to continue my athletic career at the collegiate level.

As a dedicated student-athlete, I have maintained a strong academic record while excelling in multiple sports. I am an outside linebacker for the Varsity football team and am a member of the Varsity wrestling team at Lincoln-Way Central. My commitment to training, teamwork, and continuous improvement has enabled me to achieve several accolades, including a Fresh/Soph State Title after a hand injury resulting in being sidelined for 6 weeks in the middle of my varsity sophomore season.  Despite the missing six weeks of the season I was still able to surpass both 100 career pins and 150 career wins.  

In football, I have developed my skills as an outside linebacker and have been recognized for my toughness, speed, strength, leverage, agility, and overall tackling ability.  I make an effort to display the qualities of a good teammate and often encourage and uplift my teammates. My experience in wrestling has honed my strength, technique, endurance, mental toughness, and overall athleticism.  I have consistently placed in local and state competitions.  Some notable accomplishments: 3A IHSA 4th place finish at 175lbs.,a top 8 finish at the 3A IHSA State Championships in 2025,  IWCOA Fresh/Soph State Champ, SWSC Wrestling Athlete of the Year, and my Varsity football team making the 7A IHSA Semifinal round.
