Characters on the Surface

Sara – Sara is a 13 year old girl who can swim really well. Though she is only in Junior High, she just started swimming on the High School Swim Team. Her mother disappeared a year ago, and she lives with a foster parent, Joan. She has one best friend, Leah.

Leah – Lea is also 13 years old. Similar to her doctor father, she is very smart, though not very athletic. Leah has a crush on Eldy. 

Eldy – Eldy is a 16 year old young man who lives with Kory. He is dependable and a protector at heart. 

Joan – Joan is Sara’s foster mom. She doesn’t let on at first, but she knew Sara’s mother very well. She is cranky and stubborn, but has a softer side that few get to see.

Kory – Kory has a wife, and two kids. He takes care of Eldy, who lives with him. He is stout, with a muscled frame and enjoys taking Eldy, Sara and Leah rock climbing.

Mr. Kayne – Kayne is retired military. He is strong willed and determined. He is the top dog of the WOLF Pack.

Characters in the Aquatian Rebellion

Gavrio – Gavrio is the 11 year old son of former Royal Counselor of Aquatia, Elinda. He is always overlooked as the ‘kid’, but has huge dreams of making a difference. 

Ravi & Kloi – Ravi (16) and Kloi (17) are brother and sister. They live in Aquatia, but are part of the rebellion movement trying to unseat Xifias. 

Yevma – Yevma is the perfect grandmother. She was formerly the Handmaiden of Queen Regina, though she went into hiding when Xifias took over the city. She is married to Garithes.

Garithes – before the attack on the city and Xifias took over, Garithes was the Lead Royal Counselor to Queen Regina. When Xifias began executing former leaders, Garithes took his wife and any supporters to live in the bunkers below the city.

Elinda – Elinda was also a former Royal Counselor before the attack. She is very proper in all she does, and tends to lead without emotion. She is married to Pisto and mother of Gavrio.

Pisto – Pisto is an Aquatian scientist. Before the attack, he did great research and furthured the fields of agriculture, machines and air rejuvination for the city.
