On-Demand Local Processing: When you click the Extension icon, it scans the text content (DOM) of your currently active web page locally on your device to extract return policies and shipping terms. This processing occurs entirely within your browser in real-time.
2. Data Storage and Tracking
No Server Storage: The Extension operates without external servers or databases. Extracted policy information is held temporarily in browser memory while the Extension popup is open and is immediately cleared when closed.
No Analytics or Tracking: The Extension does not use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to track your online activity or usage behavior.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Because no data is collected or transmitted, we do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties, advertisers, or business partners.
4. Browser Permissions
activeTab: Grants temporary access to the webpage you are currently viewing only when you explicitly click the Extension icon.
scripting: Used to run the local scanning script on the active tab to find return and shipping terms.
5. Third-Party Web Sites
The Extension provides direct links to return and shipping policy pages on third-party retailer websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites. Clicking these links opens the URL directly in a new browser tab subject to that website's privacy policy.
