Jax Local Music ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Jax Local Music mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
When you create an account, we collect the following information:
Account Information: Your name, email address, and password. You also select a user type (Fan, Artist, or Venue) during registration.
Usage Data: We may collect general usage data such as which screens you visit within the App to help us improve the experience.
We use the information we collect to:
— Provide and maintain your account and access to the App
— Personalize your experience based on your user type
— Send you notifications about events and updates (with your permission)
— Improve and develop new features for the App
— Communicate with you about your account or the App
Your account information is stored securely using Google Firebase, a cloud platform provided by Google LLC. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use the following third-party services:
Google Firebase: For user authentication and data storage. Firebase's privacy policy can be found at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Expo / EAS: For app delivery and push notifications. Expo's privacy policy can be found at expo.dev/privacy.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
— When required by law or to comply with legal process
— To protect the rights, property, or safety of Jax Local Music, our users, or the public
You may request to view, update, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your account through the App.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the effective date above.
