I am a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in Arizona State University, where I work on issues related to Environmental and Development Economics. Prior to this I was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the Centre for Food, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, The Ohio State University and a researcher at ICAR- National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research, New Delhi, India. I have a PhD in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics and MA in Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India.
My research focus is on applied econometrics and empirical work in the fields of environmental and development economics. Some of the topics I have worked on include climate change, food security, adaptation, risk and insurance.
