When you sign in to your Google Account, all the Google services you use work together to help you get more done. For example, flight confirmations in your Gmail inbox will automatically sync with your Google Calendar and Google Maps to help you get to the airport on time.

From resuming YouTube videos across devices, to having your contacts, and favorite Play Store apps easily available, a single sign-in allows for a seamless experience across Google. Your Google Account also makes it easy for you to sign in to third-party apps safely and quickly so your preferences go with you even beyond Google.

Your Google Account automatically protects your personal information and keeps it private and safe. Every account comes with powerful features like spam filters that block 99.9% of dangerous emails before they ever reach you, and personalized security notifications that alert you of suspicious activity and malicious websites.

If you want to use Gmail for your business, a Google Workspace account might be better for you than a personal Google Account. Google Workspace starts at $6 per user per month and includes the following:

Once you've added your password, and followed any two-factor authentication prompts (you'll only see this if you previously added two-factor authentication for this account), the Google account permissions window appears. Select Allow.

Gmail does allow you to add your account to Outlook without setting up two-factor authentication and using an app password, but you must turn on a setting that allows "less secure apps" to connect to your account. We do not recommend this setting. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication and using an app password.

If you have a Google account added to Outlook for Mac earlier to the release of improved authentication experience for Google IMAP accounts, then you will need to sign-in using the browser to connect to your account.

Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security for your account. Each time you log in to your Gmail account from a new device, you'll receive a single-use code on your phone. Enter this code to complete the sign-in.

Connect a personal email account to HubSpot to send one-to-one emails from the CRM, log email replies to the CRM, send sequences emails, and install HubSpot Sales to access the sales tools in your inbox.

A team email address is an email address that multiple users have access to and use to communicate with customers. You can connect a team email address to the conversations inbox so your team can view, manage, and reply to emails in one place. Learn how to connect a team email address to HubSpot, or review this guide about the different inbox connections in HubSpot.

HubSpot will attempt to recommend which email provider you should connect with. Click Connect to [recommended provider], then continue the steps below for your specific provider to finish connecting your personal email.

Before connecting your inbox via IMAP, review the technical requirements with your IT team. You must meet all of the technical requirements before you can connect. You can also review the HubSpot Sales privacy overview before connecting.

You can also have Gmail apply labels to emails as they arrive, saving you the manual effort. For example, you can have all the emails from your lawyers labeled as Documents. All you have to do is create a Filter.

For example, they send you a receipt every time you buy something from a vendor. You may not need these receipts immediately, but they can prove invaluable when reconciling your accounts at the end of the year; this is where the archiving feature comes into play, aiding in the efficient organization and retrieval of essential financial documents, including receipts, notably, and consulting invoices.

Gmail already filters many messages into Social or Promotional categories by default, but there are always instances where you may want to stop that sender from even hitting your inbox. The Gmail Unsubscribe feature built directly into Gmail is an easy way to unsubscribe from unwanted email.

A good way to get started on this process is to do a search for unsubscribing to see what emails come up. Clicking through each one will give you a place to start removing yourself from lists and cleaning up your Gmail Inbox.

Click on that icon will bring up the Advanced Search Menu. This menu contains a wealth of tools designed to help clean up and optimize a Gmail inbox. You can search for emails based on date, size, from, subject, etc. Once you set your terms, you can create a filter to let email automations take over.

Gmail Labels are a tag that can be added to every email in your inbox. You can also add them to drafts that have not been sent yet. These labels can be used to keep your inbox organized. They are similar to email folders that other email services use, but unlike folders, you can apply more than one label to a single message.

Super search: With Spike, there is no need to search threads endlessly. This feature allows you to search any keyword or file across your entire inbox. And just like that, you can find anything with a click of a button. File management has never been easier.

If you set up automatic mail forwarding using the steps above, you'll see a notice in your inbox for the first week after you turned on forwarding. This is a reminder that forwarding is turned on, and gives you a chance to review your forwarding settings.

If you created a filter that forwards certain messages to another email address, you'll see this notice in your inbox for the first week after you set up the filter. This is a reminder that forwarding is turned on, and gives you a chance to review your forwarding settings.

Sure, you could take the gamble of just archiving all of your messages (not recommended) and starting from scratch, but without proper Gmail organization tips, your inbox will be overflowing with new and unread messages before you know it.

It may seem like an impossible challenge and might take some time to fine-tune, but organizing your Gmail account will help you reduce stress and better manage your time and priorities.

If you select a message or several messages, you can click on the button at the top of your inbox that looks like a shopping tag. This allows you to assign those messages to predefined labels that Gmail uses to keep your inbox organized.

But just like any shortcuts, you need to find a system that works for you. If one of these methods makes it harder for you to find archived messages or keep track of important conversations, then try something else. Once you find the procedures that make sense for your daily routine, your inbox will be a well-oiled machine.

3. Save changes and the page should automatically refresh

4. Start starring your emails by clicking on the star icon to the left of the email senders name. Click it multiple times to scroll through the various star options you chose

Once you have everything set up you need to be diligent about using the stars and archiving emails that no longer require your attention so that you don't end up with another wall of a thousand emails.

Another way I clean up the clutter of my email inbox is by using a Chrome extension called Simplify. It is a browser extension you can find in the Chrome Webstore that cleans up the Gmail interface.

You go from this:

Whew! I know that was a lot but I promise you that it makes your email so much nicer to manage.

If you decide to give this a try, let me know what you think in the comments on the blog or email me!

Hi @NeelamBakre - There are some ways to get your image shown in the Promotions tab in Gmail. One is by purchasing ad space with Google. But it also seems the Gmail does some bundling of its own into Top Deals or Top Picks. Reading the blurb from Google, its not instantly obvious how they pick these, but I would partner with someone like Litmus who studies how to position for these spots in Gmail.

@Derren_Bowers Thanks for your quick response . I have checked the mentioned website & tried testing the JASON-LD script along with my html. I received testing in Gmail Promotional tab but without any Image preview. Is JASON-LD supported by Adobe Classic ? Also, do we need to install AMP package In adobe for the same ?

After doing some google search about this image in email. It is basically called as a promotion card, which gets display in the promotion inbox folder, if Email HTML contains some additional code snippet.

Billions of businesses and individuals use Gmail and other G Suite services to communicate and process data. Google offers G Suite APIs to help you access information in these services programmatically, and you can use the APIs to easily automate your daily workflow. In this lab, you will build a powerful Gmail extension that automatically categorizes emails in incoming messages and saves those categories in a Google sheet. This extension will use G Suite's RESTful APIs, Google Cloud Functions, and other Google Cloud Platform services.

In this lab, you will use Google Cloud Shell to perform most operations. Cloud Shell provides you command-line access to your Google Cloud Platform resources directly from your browser, allowing you to manage them without using a local machine.

Edit auth/env_vars.yaml in the Cloud Shell Code Editor. Replace YOUR-GOOGLE-CLIENT-ID, and YOUR-GOOGLE-CLIENT-SECRET with values of your own. See the earlier step for more information. Leave the values of YOUR-GOOGLE-CLIENT-CALLBACK-URL and YOUR-PUBSUB-TOPIC unchanged for now. ff782bc1db
