As a District level administrator, I still have the great opportunity to get into classrooms and work with students. Below are some examples on how I recently have impacted student learning in our classrooms today.
Work with students in grades 5 - 7 on innovative educational strategies that they can teach their teachers and classmates. Strategies include instructional technology, but also include flexible learning spaces, brain breaks, and more. Students also conduct professional development opportunities for their teachers.
Work with students in their classrooms through co-teaching with classroom teachers. Topics include instructional technology strategies, brain breaks, and more.
Work with students on editing and printing different posters and documents to be hung throughout the school. Students work with Hauser administrators and teachers to create documents and print the posters on a poster printer.
Created an 8th grade STEAM course where students learn about different careers related to design. Students meet with administrators and create signs for school hallways. Signs are carved on a Carvey, which is a 3D carving machine by Inventables.
