About Jason
My name is Jason Schmitz, and I am running for WI State Assembly District 3. I am a husband and father of two adult children. I live in Harrison WI where I have resided the past 9 years. I'm an Industrial Electrician for Neenah Foundry where I have worked for the past 12 years. I'm pro-Union and serve on the Executive Board for the United Steelworkers Local at the Foundry, and I'm part of the Executive Board for the Area Labor Council. I'm also a volunteer for the Outagamie County CERT (Community Emergency Response Team).
Jason's Priorities
Repeal 2011 Wisconsin Act 10 and Right-to-Work law
Increase funding for public schools and the police
Restore the prevailing wage and Increase the minimum wage to $15/hr
Continue to fix Wisconsin’s infrastructure
Support Buy Wisconsin/Buy American for Wisconsin's purchases and projects
