Not been able to find a fix so far but will keep trying. If all else fails I can always download a different photo album app. PSPA is around 14 years old and it has always installed without the need for registration or had a license key to enter. Those were the days eh?! I'm used to it so didn't want the usual hassle of learning a new program.

Unfortunately FotoTime FotoAlbum does not have the concept of storing thumbnails and database information for offline CDs. If you index a CD and add it to an album, it will copy the photos to a directory on your hard drive.

You can create a custom slide show based on the subset of photos in an album. You can select transition effects and timing. It would be nice if you could define custom crops of images (and other enhancements) to be visible only during a slide show, but I don't think that's possible in any of the current photo album programs.

I have tried almost all photo management software. FotoStation 4.5 Pro is the best for professional use. I have used it for many years and I have been very satisfied with it. But I recently switched to Photoshop Album. Why? It's not perfect, but it's very easy to use. It's very fast and easy to tag and to find photos. That's whats counts for me.

Paint Shop Pro (PSP) is a bitmap graphics editor and vector graphics editor for computers running the Microsoft Windows operating system that was originally published by Minneapolis-based Jasc Software. In October 2004, Corel Corporation purchased Jasc Software, and with it, the distribution rights to Paint Shop Pro.

Originally called simply Paint Shop, the first version, 1.0, was released in early 1992. Paint Shop was originally distributed as shareware, but is now sold in the United States for US$99.99, or US$59.99 for an upgrade from version 7 or higher, which is considerably lower than the price of its main competition, Adobe Photoshop. International prices vary but there is always a price advantage over Photoshop.

With version 8.0 of PSP Jasc made some major changes to PSP. The most obvious change was the new look of the program through the use of all new GUI elements. Version 8.0 also introduced the ability to control most elements of PSP via scripts or macros. Some changes, however, were not welcomed by all users. Some users complained that the time to start version 8.0 was tens of seconds, whereas the previous version started up in a few seconds. Some users also complained that the changes made to the brush and other tools rendered them much less precise than in the previous version.
