Mortem was my entry the the SGDA Fall 2021 game jam. The theme was Memento Mori so we made a game where you play the Grim Reaper, fighting for time to live. Each enemy killed gives seconds more, but getting hit reduced the timer.
I was responsible for coding the player controller and the enemy AIs. I spent a lot of time getting the scythe just right, as the player could both shoot it out, then call it back to them. Once those features were done I implemented many of the game feel features, such as camera shake/tilt, particle effects, and the scythe embedding itself into things.
