I am an acting professor at the University of Hamburg, where I currently replace Prof. Dr. Dr. Lydia Mechtenberg in teaching. I am also a principal investigator of the project "Fake Reviews in Digital Markets", funded by the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung.

Previously, I was a postdoc and research coordinator at Helmut-Schmidt-University (HSU) Hamburg. I coordinated the research units “Effective Risk Communication”, a cooperation between the HSU and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR), and "Need-based Justice and Distribution Procedures", which was funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
