Our signature JA S.H.E. Leads is reimagined for a virtual setting, opening up to all business professionals and 8th-12th grade school students from Northern California, for a day of STEM career path exploration. Through engaging virtual activities, students will explore a variety of STEM careers and curriculum and gain insights and inspiration from high-profile speakers. This event is 100% FREE!

What to Expect
9:00 am-10:00 am - All students will have the opportunity to hear from our Keynote Speaker, Christine Magnuson. Two-time Olympian and Senior Manager Enterprise Solution Engineering at Salesforce. Followed by a discussion from our panelists.
10:00 am-3:30 pm - All students will have the opportunity to attend various workshops throughout the day. Workshops last 30-40 minutes, students can attend as many workshops as they wish throughout the day.
3:30 pm-5:30 pm - Celebrating the power of mentorship, students who identify as female will have the opportunity to participate in our mentor-led discussions. Our mentors who also identify as female come from a variety of professional backgrounds give students, the confidence to further their aspirations and build their professional network.
Each mentoring session will last 30 minutes, and students can sign up for as many mentoring sessions as they wish.
Important Facts for Teachers
Students DO NOT need to attend the entire event. They can choose which workshops and mentoring sessions they participate in.
We can provide you an ATTENDANCE REPORT of which students registered for our event.
The curriculum is also available for this event to help enhance your student’s experience. Please see attached.
