Crazy Taxi is a series of score attack racing video games that was published by SEGA back in 1999. They started out as arcade games before the company ported it to their Dreamcast video game console in 2000. You assume the role of a taxi driver who must save up money by delivering passengers to their destinations in the shortest time possible. Earn additional tips by performing crazy stunts before the time runs out.

All in all, Crazy Taxi Classic is as close as we are going to get to experience the original game's fun and crazy gameplay again. It features all the content from the Dreamcast port, from the maps, cars, mini-games, and even the OST. The controls and glitches do get in the way sometimes, but it's not something that can't be fixed in future updates.

Crazy Taxi Classic is an adapted version of the famous SEGA game for Andorid devices. It puts you in the shoes of four crazy taxi drivers who are capable of doing anything to get their client to their destination on time.

I have a psp emulator on my phone and it rubs crazy taxi farewars great so I get crazy taxi 1 and 2 it has controller support so I paired a PS4 controller to my phone and now I can play crazy taxi on the toilet I recommend this to anyone with an android.

Players won't have total control over the taxi's movement, but rather can change lanes by sliding a finger across the screen, or making a pronounced turn by holding down on one side. With this simple control system you can maneuver the taxi comfortably and intuitively.

As you pass tests and get money, you can buy new taxis to add to your collection or spruce up the ones you already have. You can also unlock new drivers or even new areas of the city that are hidden when you first start out.

In Crazy Taxi: City Rush, the players do not have a direct control of the vehicle's speed. The road is split into multiple lanes, with swipe controls being used to trigger a lane switch. By touching the left or right side of the screen, the taxi will take a turn if it appears on a crossroad.[1] In order to earn in-game cash currency, the players have a choice between story missions and side jobs.[2] The main objective in most of them is to pick up a certain person and deliver them safely to their destination before the time limit expires. All cars in-game have different handling and speed stats, and can be upgraded and painted on at any time.[3] After the players make an initial selection of the driver and vehicle, City Rush will initiate a tutorial with a purpose of teaching the control scheme.[4]

Crazy Taxi[c] is a racing video game developed by Hitmaker and published by Sega.[10] It is the first game in the Crazy Taxi series. The game was first released in arcades in 1999 and then was ported to the Dreamcast in 2000. Gameplay is based on picking up taxi customers and driving to their destination as quickly as possible. Reception to Crazy Taxi has been mostly positive. It was ported to other platforms numerous times, including the PlayStation 2 and GameCube by Acclaim in 2001, and then Windows in 2002.

The main objective of the game is to pick up customers and take them to their chosen destination as quickly as possible. Along the way, money can be earned by performing stunts, such as near misses with other vehicles.[12] The player is directed to a destination by a large green arrow at the top of the screen. The arrow does not adjust based on obstacles but rather points in the general direction of the destination. Once the player arrives near the destination, they must stop within a specified zone. When the destination is reached, the customer's fare is added to the player's total money earned. Ratings are then awarded depending on how long the player took to complete the journey.[13] If the customer's timer runs out before the player reaches the destination, the customer will jump from the taxi without paying the driver.

Players can select three-, five-, or ten-minute settings, or the Arcade Rules used in the original coin-op version of the game.[13] In the three time-limited settings, play continues for the designated period of time, after which the cab automatically stops and no more points can be scored. Under Arcade Rules, the player starts with an initial time limit of one minute, which can be extended through time bonuses earned for quick deliveries. Console versions of the game also feature a mode known as Crazy Box, a set of minigames that feature challenges, such as picking up and dropping off a number of customers within a time limit, bowling using the taxi as a ball, and popping giant balloons in a field.[14]

Crazy Taxi was brought to the App Store on iOS devices in October 2012. The game includes the arcade map and the map that was introduced for consoles. It also includes all Crazy Box challenges. As in the console versions, if all challenges are completed, a pedicab is unlocked to play the main game with. The taxi can be controlled though either the touch screen or by tilting the device making use of its accelerometer. Critics were impressed with this port because the maps remained unchanged and the controls were intuitive.[23]

Crazy Taxi producer Kenji Kanno noted that the time extension on gameplay was a breakaway of the current "100 yen for three minutes" that persisted at the time for arcade games, and it rewarded players with longer playing times by performing well in the game.[14] In addition to providing a game that could be played in short sessions, Kanno wanted a game to explore the "daily life and routine" of a taxi driver.[26] In the development of the Dreamcast version of the original arcade game, the developers included a larger map in addition to the arcade one, as to create a feeling of "being lost" and allowing home console players to have fun "learning the town".[14] Mini-games were developed for this version as to "let the player play longer if he improved skill" by offering challenges that were both fun and educational. Over one hundred different ideas for mini-games were developed by the team, but then pared down for the Crazy Box mini-game challenges for the game.[14]

Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire is a clicker where you put yourself behind the wheels of a nascent taxi company. More specifically, you'll be the one that's in charge of overseeing the whackiest taxi company in the history of video games, while managing to employ all the legendary drivers from the classic SEGA Craxi Taxi franchise.

The mechanics of Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire is not unlike other games within the clicker genre. Overall gameplay is very simple and based on waiting. Every second that goes pay gets you your pay. And of course, the more drivers you hire and the more taxis we have in service, the more money you'll earn. In addition, you can improve each of your taxis in the game to get an even fatter profit margin.

In the game's main screen you see city streets for the areas your taxis roam looking for customers. From time to time message bubbles pop up, and if you tap on them quickly enough you'll get extra money for that pick-up. But that isn't the only way to get extra cash.

Crazy Taxi is a little more than just an arcade game. You can play ranked mode, 3, 5, and 10 minute modes, along with the crazy box mode where you can do big jumps or bowl using the the tax. You can also earn points by ferrying people from place to place in an allotted amount of time.

Crazy Taxi is a racing game in which you take on the role of a taxi driver trying to get your passengers to their destinations as quickly as possible. Not involved: safe driving or following the traffic laws. Since its arcade release in 1999, this game has appeared on almost every imaginable platform, including a highly-regarded Dreamcast version.

Crazy Taxi: City Rush, Sega's recently released free-to-play arcade driving action game for Android, got its first big content update this week that adds a new district to drive around in, new taxis and much more. e24fc04721
