The list below shows the approximate recording times for the different micro SD card sizes that can be used with our Road-Keeper HD system.

The recordings are split into shorter recordings, typically 20mins in duration, each of about 3.6GB. (1.8GB file for each of the two cameras. The videos and data are synchronized for playback in Race-Keeper Comparo, or in Race-Keeper Instant Video Player).

Both cameras can be adjusted vertically and horizontally to capture the perfect view.

In-car audio is recorded onto the video streams, the microphone can be muted for privacy by pressing the Mic button on your Road-Keeper.

I am using this camera for about 3 weeks. Shofar so good. It works and does almost everything it promised longer than some other brands in same price and similar futures. But there is 2 problems i am run in to. Not a dill breaker but it is there. First: speed of download thru app is extremely slow totally unusable. Second: camera have GPS and if gps player is used coordinates embed in to the video but map player do not work. Again not a big deal, but it is an issue

This dash cam has worked flawlessly every since i have purchased. The quality is great and streaming wirelessly to my phone via the app is a huge bonus feature. Just make sure the SD card used is a fast writing card or you may have issues with the cam requesting you to format the SD card. This happened to me since the camera was trying to write data faster then my out dated card would allow and resulting in corrected files. After installing a new updated SD i have had zero issues with the camera.

i have replaced 3 v1 with 3rd gen. there is some remarkable improvements on the 3g. the setup screens are much faster to access, and the inputs are more stable. it mounts with the old mount, and power and gps pins are the same. the battery is way better. very stable, and longer use on battery power. a problem with the old v1, where the battery would not keep a full charge, is now gone. the 3g keeps a full charge, and i can change settings easily with the ign off(they are all hardwired). the newer gps is much better, especially the map. the map also has satellite view. also, the new gps captures time via satellite, and upgrades it on the screen. one caveat. i had myriad of problems with the v1, and warranteed them a lot. customer service is excellent. however, all the problems ceased when i went to high endurance sd cards. since then, they have performed flawlessly. i did not use the supplied card, i now only use high endurance in dash cams. i can see very little difference in the v1 1080p and the 3g 2160p, but that is because the monitor we have is only 1080. we have cctv around our home, and the cameras are 4mp. the monitor i used was 1080, and when we upgraded to a 4k monitor, the picture is much clearer. so if we ever go to a 4k monitor, i am sure the picture will become a lot better. wifi is also a nice addition, but i prefer pulling the sd card, and viewing on the computer

This tracker is for my second V1-4K. It is a very good unit and is not readily apparent to someone standing outside the vehicle, small footprint. The wiring kit also allows the tracker to detect a problem without draining the battery. The screen in the daylight is not easily viewed, too dark, but at night it really shows up.
