About Me
Hello! My name is Jane Horovitz and I am a fourth-year student at the University of Maine studying English with a concentration in business/technical writing and Journalism in the Honors College. I was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in Washington, Maine! In my second year of tutoring, I hope to help writers find their true voice in a way that is a collaborative!
In addition to serving as a peer tutor, I am also a tutor coordinator at the Writing Center where I manage our social media accounts. My goals this year are to encourage a larger population to find and utilize the Writing Center.
Outside of the Writing Center, I work as Head Copy Editor at the Maine Campus, and am a teaching assistant for Honors 180: A Cultural Odyssey. I enjoy traveling, hiking, and reading!
