I’m Jane, an MD-PhD student at Duke University studying molecular cancer biology. My research focuses on mechanisms of cell survival following centrosome amplification and multipolar division. I've always had a passion for teaching and mentoring, and during my PhD I've had the chance to develop these skills. I've served as a teaching assistant for both undergraduate and graduate level courses and led lectures, facilitated small groups, and run labs. I am training to become a physician-scientist bringing my research from bench to bedside as an oncologist. I am excited to incorporate teaching into my career, from teaching courses and giving lectures to educating my patients and trainees.
