Welcome

A short bio

I am a Scientist at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore and a former Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at the University of Manchester (Mentor: Prof. Sir. Andre Geim). I completed my Ph.D. in Physics from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2016 (Supervisors: Prof. Elbert Chia and Prof. Tom Wu)

My research activities are focused on understanding the quantum materials for next-generation electronics resulting in 26 articles in peer-reviewed journals (11 first author, h index =13). Along this direction, my proposal was awarded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme. I was also one of the Co-Investigators  to secure the ASTAR Programmatic Fund ‘19 on ‘Spin-Orbit Technologies for Intelligence at the Edge’. I have also successfully initiated international collaborations by winning proposals for beamtime in synchrotron facilities (ALBA, Spain and SSLS, Singapore).
