James Vickery
Hi! I'm a financial economist studying financial intermediation, real estate finance and household finance, with a focus on mortgage and MBS markets. In addition to my academic research I've also contributed to a range of Federal Reserve policy initiatives, including serving as Deputy Chair of the Model Oversight Group overseeing the Fed's bank supervisory stress tests.
I'm a Senior Economic Advisor and Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. I'm also an associate editor at the Journal of Financial Economics and Journal of Financial Intermediation. I was previously an economist at the New York Fed. I have also taught at Wharton, NYU Stern and Princeton, primarily in the area of real estate finance.
