About Me

Jalon Payton is a freelance AEA Stage Manager primarily based in the Baltimore/DC area, with experience working out of town in Spring Green, WI. Recently he has been apart of productions at; American Players Theatre (The Brothers Size, The Royale, A Raisin in the Sun, Anton's Shorts) Arena Stage (Swept Away [East Coast Premiere], Tempestuous Elements [World Premiere], The High Ground [World Premiere]), Everyman Theatre (A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery), Baltimore Center Stage (The Swindlers: A Tru-ish Tall Tale [World Premiere], The Folks at Home [World Premiere]), Imagination Stage (10 Seconds). He has also Stage Managed Play Readings and workshops with Arena Stage, Taffety Punk Theatre, & Roundhouse Theatre. Jalon is a 2024 recipient of the Charlie Blackwell Symposium Scholarship. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County & the Community College of Baltimore County.
