Jakob Granath

Welcome to my website! I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Uppsala University, expecting to graduate in 2027.

I am also affiliated with the Uppsala Center for Fiscal Studies (UCFS) and the Uppsala Urban Lab, and during the fall 2025, I visited the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB).

My research is in empirical microeconomics, primarily urban economics, with a focus on how neighborhoods and policy interventions shape economic and social outcomes. I am also interested in political and health economics.
