My name is Jake Mozarsky, and I am a Digital and Social Content Producer for the Big Ten Conference. In this role, I write website feature stories, contribute to the Big Ten Insider newsletter, and produce multi-platform digital coverage across college football, basketball, and Olympic sports.

Prior to joining the Big Ten, I spent a year with The Sporting News as an editorial producer, where I covered the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, major collegiate events and tournaments, including the 2026 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. During my tenure, I wrote game recaps, breaking news, injury reports, betting guides, and in-depth analytical pieces, while also managing regional digital content for affiliate platforms like NESN and Sportsnet Pittsburgh.

My background spans both digital editorial work and on-air broadcasting across a variety of collegiate and professional sports outlets, including Marquee Sports Network, The Arizona Republic, Chicago This Week, Blue Line Station, Inside NU, and The Daily Northwestern.

I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Master of Science in Sports Media from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. My reporting at Northwestern covered major national stories, including the football program's high-profile hazing scandal, as well as two of the three NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament appearances in program history.

I am passionate about the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, college football and basketball, and more, and have been lucky enough to build professional experiences in all those areas.
