I am a phonetician and laboratory phonologist. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Nordic Studies and Linguistics at Copenhagen University, where I started in March 2026. Before this, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Phonetics and Speech Processing (IPS) at LMU, Munich from 2024-2026.  I completed my PhD on the Danish phonation contrast in 2023 at the Department of Linguistics at NYU. My advisor was Lisa Davidson. 

I am interested in phonetics, the  phonetics-phonology interface, psycholinguistics, Articulatory Phonology and bilingualism. My research focuses on laryngeal contrasts and laryngeal phonetics/phonology. I have worked on speech production and speech perception in English, Danish and Korean.
