Enrollment and Retention Policy
I. Enrollment
Eligibility: Students of all ages and grades are welcome to enroll, provided they meet the prerequisite requirements for the specific course or program. Placement tests may be required for certain subjects.
Application Process: Complete an online enrollment form through our website. Submit necessary documents (ID proof, age proof, report cards, etc.) as outlined in the application form. Schedule a baseline test (if applicable). Pay the enrollment fee.
Confirmation of Enrollment: Upon successful application and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with course details, schedules, and instructor information.
II. Payment and Fees
Tuition Fees: We offer various payment options, including upfront semester payments, monthly installments, and sibling discounts. Recurring payments are calculated on a monthly PAYG basis (NO CHARGE FOR OFF-DAYS). Visit the Fee Structure page to know more. Tuition fees are subject to change and will be clearly communicated when changed.
Late Payment: A late payment fee of ₹5/day will be applied to payments received after the due date.
Material Fees: Any additional material fees (workbooks, TLMs etc.) will be communicated clearly.
III. Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Withdrawal Notification: Students must notify the centre administration in writing (email or physical letter) at least 30 days before the desired withdrawal date.
Refund Policy: A full refund will be issued for withdrawals notified before the course start date. For withdrawals after the course begins, a pro-rated refund will be offered based on the number of classes attended, excluding the enrollment fee and any materials purchased.
IV. Attendance and Make-up Policy
Regular Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for student success. We expect students to attend all scheduled classes.
Absence Notification: Students must inform the centre administration in advance (24 hours preferred) in case of absence. Learners having ZERO attendance in past 30 days without any medical reason with valid proof will need to enroll again by paying a re-enrollment charge of ₹500.
Make-up Classes: We offer make-up classes for excused absences (medical reasons, pre-approved events). Unexcused absences will not be eligible for make-up options.
V. Student Conduct
Respectful Environment: We maintain a respectful and positive learning environment for all students and staff. Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
Academic Integrity: Cheating and plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Consequences for violations may include warnings, point deductions, dismissal from the program/course.
Damage to the Property: Students causing damage to the property of Jai Ganesha Tuitions in any way will be liable for its repair or replacement cost.
VI. Retention Policy
Progress Monitoring: We monitor student progress through regular assessments and communication with parents/guardians.
Student Struggles: If a student is struggling academically, we will work with them to identify areas for improvement and offer additional support (individualized tutoring, study skills workshops, remedial sessions etc.).
Termination of Enrollment: In cases of consistent poor performance, disruptive behaviour, or non-payment of fees, the centre may be forced to terminate a student's enrollment.
VII. Changes to Policy
We reserve the right to modify this enrollment and retention policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to all enrolled students and parents/guardians.
