Welcome to my website!

I am the Vice Director of Research at the Institute for Economic and Social Research (LPEM-FEB UI) and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, Universitas Indonesia. I am also a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I serve as the Editor-in-Chief of Economics and Finance in Indonesia. I previously worked as an Associate Lecturer at the University of York in the UK.

My research interests lie in Development Economics, Political Economy, the Economics of Media, and Applied Macroeconomics.

In particular, I am interested in investigating the role of institutions and information in economic performance and firm dynamics, and the impact of ICT, media, and technology on economic outcomes.

My work has been published and is forthcoming in peer-reviewed academic journals, including the European Economic Review, Economics of Governance, Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies, Telecommunications Policy, Applied Health Economics and Health Policy, Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, and Journal of Southeast Asian Economies.
