Team 2929 started in 2009 with two mentors and eight students who had no idea what they were getting themselves into. The team made it to finals but unfortunately they lost. Frustrated the team could not find the will to move on. In 2010 Mr. Paul Baxter pledged his fearless mentorship to Jagbots Team 2929. With our team technically a veteran team, we were faced with all kinds of problems, without any knowledge of how FIRST operated and the process to make a successful robot for competition. Our first year was an eye opening experience that made us hungry for more and come back stronger year after year. We are competing in 2024, and look forward to continued progress. Our eyes are wide open now and we take heart in FIRST’s mission, spreading the message of FIRST throughout our schools and communities.
