I am Jaehyeok Lee, a research associate at the Research Institute of Basic Sciences, Ajou University, South Korea.
My research interest is in the duality between groups and the categories of their representations. I am currently working on developing a categorical framework that establishes such dualities for various kinds of groups at once, motivated by the analogy between Grothendieck's Galois theory and the theory of Tannakian categories. I am also looking for possible applications of this framework, primarily in number theory and arithmetic geometry.
I received my Ph.D. from POSTECH in February 2025 under the supervision of Jae-Suk Park.
