If you want a versatile 2-in-1 adapter to charge your phone and listen to audio simultaneously while on the water, choose Jadebones USB C; if you need a dedicated magnetic charging cable specifically for bone conduction headphones like the NANK Runner 4 or PSIER S18 for fishing, choose VBANU Replacement Charging Cable.
• Jadebones USB C: Its biggest strength is the dual functionality of passing through 100W fast charging while routing audio to a 3.5mm jack, but it is strictly an adapter with no native battery or headphone included. This pick is for anglers who need to keep their smartphone charged while using wired earbuds.
• VBANU Replacement Charging Cable: Its biggest strength is the secure magnetic connection designed specifically for 4-pin bone conduction headsets, but it only charges and does not handle audio transmission. This pick is for users who own specific bone conduction models and have lost their original charger or need a backup cord.
The Jadebones USB C adapter is built for the angler who refuses to compromise on connectivity. In my experience observing how gear behaves in the field, having a single dongle that handles both power and audio is a massive advantage when you are juggling a tackle box, a rod, and a smartphone. This device converts a USB Type-C port into two distinct outputs: a 3.5mm headphone jack and a pass-through charging port. The design features a metallic finish which suggests durability against the elements, and it weighs a mere 11 grams, making it virtually unnoticeable in your pocket.
This product shines for anyone who relies on standard 3.5mm wired earbuds or headphones while needing to top up their phone battery. The specification sheet indicates a current rating of 5 amps, supporting up to 100W fast charging. This means you can plug this into a high-wattage brick and continue listening to music or podcasts without draining your phone's battery mid-fish. It is compatible with a wide range of devices including laptops, smartphones, tablets, and speakers, offering a universal solution for those with modern USB-C ports.

However, this is not a standalone audio device. It requires you to bring your own headphones and a power source. If you are looking for noise-canceling sleep headphones for fishing, this adapter will work with your existing pair, but it does not provide the active noise cancellation itself. It is also not suitable for bone conduction headsets that require a proprietary magnetic charging puck unless those headsets happen to use a standard USB-C charging port, which most do not. You should skip this product if your primary goal is simply to recharge a bone conduction headset, as the connector types and pin layouts are completely different.
The VBANU Replacement Charging Cable serves a very specific niche: owners of 4-pin bone conduction headphones. Unlike the Jadebones adapter which bridges gaps between ports, this cable is a direct replacement for the charging interface found on popular outdoor audio gear. It features a magnetic connection mechanism, which is a critical feature for anyone wearing a headset outdoors. When you are reeling in a catch or moving quickly through brush, the last thing you want is a tangled wire or a loose connection that disconnects your charger. The magnetic design ensures a tight fit and aligns the pins automatically, allowing for a "plug and play" experience without fumbling in the dark.
The construction details reveal a focus on longevity and safety. Crafted from high-quality ABS and PVC materials, the cable has been tested for over 5000 bends, suggesting it can withstand the rigors of being tossed in a tackle bag repeatedly. The internal copper wiring is noted to generate no heat during charging, a vital safety feature when dealing with lithium-ion batteries in compact devices. The cable length is specified at 60 centimeters (approximately 2 feet), which makes it compact enough for travel yet long enough to reach a power bank or wall outlet comfortably. It comes in a sleek black square shape, designed to be lightweight and portable for business trips or outdoor excursions.
This product is ideal for users who own specific models such as the Bxswtu X7, PSIER S18, Dnniakm X20, or the NANK Runner 4. If you have ever lost the original charger that came with these devices, this cable restores functionality immediately. It is also a perfect standby option to keep in your office or vehicle. However, it is important to note that this is a charging-only accessory. It does not transmit audio data. If you are looking for clip-on earbuds for fishing that connect via Bluetooth, this cable is irrelevant to you, as it cannot bridge the gap between a wireless headset and a charger in the way a Bluetooth dongle might. It is strictly a power delivery tool for compatible bone conduction units.

For my personal recommendation, I would choose the VBANU Replacement Charging Cable if my primary activity involves using bone conduction headphones for fishing. The ability to hear ambient sounds like splashing water or birds is crucial for safety and enjoyment, and the magnetic charging mechanism solves the common frustration of losing or breaking the proprietary cables that come with these headsets. The specific compatibility with popular models like the NANK Runner 4 makes it a practical investment for any serious outdoor enthusiast. Conversely, if I needed to charge my phone while using traditional wired earbuds, I would opt for the Jadebones adapter. Ultimately, for the specific context of fishing gear maintenance, the VBANU cable offers a more targeted and essential solution.
No, the Jadebones USB C adapter is designed to convert a USB-C port to a 3.5mm audio jack and a pass-through charging port for phones or laptops. It does not support the proprietary 4-pin magnetic charging interface required by bone conduction headphones like the NANK Runner 4.
No, the VBANU cable is a specialized replacement charger for bone conduction headphones with a 4-pin 2.54mm pitch interface. It is not a general-purpose USB-C cable and will not charge standard smartphones or laptops.
The VBANU cable is rated for over 5000 bends and is constructed from high-quality ABS and PVC materials. This exceeds the typical durability of many standard plastic-coated charging cords, making it a robust choice for frequent use in outdoor environments.
The Jadebones adapter transmits audio signals but does not contain active noise-canceling electronics. To get noise-canceling performance, you must use a pair of headphones that already possess this feature internally.
