maybe if I move with the buffalo

who move across the prairies always headed somewhere new...

I wouldn't need to settle in a place long enough for the burden to kick in

because somehow I'm always the one

Weep, weep,

lonely on the floor, wondering

Sorrow drips into the carpet of the cheap apartment; cliffs nowhere in sight, but the University Bridge taunts me, you, and all.

Drown the seed of happiness that doesn't rely on others, because once you detach, you realize, after years of denial and doubt.
