💫 My Story

Jacob’s Corner was born out of both love and purpose: love for my son, and a deep desire to help families navigate a system that often feels overwhelming.

When my son was diagnosed with dyslexia, I quickly realized how complex the special education process can be. Between evaluations, meetings, and unclear communication, I often felt like I had to fight just to ensure his needs were met. Through research, persistence, and collaboration, I learned how to advocate effectively, and I watched my son begin to thrive once the right supports were in place.

That experience changed the course of my life. With a professional background in Human Resources and Labor Relations, I’ve spent years understanding systems, policy, and people. Now, I’m preparing to attend law school with the goal of specializing in special education and employment law so I can continue advocating for families and students at a higher level.

Jacob’s Corner is my way of combining that knowledge and passion to help other parents feel informed, confident, and supported. Whether you’re preparing for your first IEP meeting, reviewing your child’s plan, or just need guidance on where to start, I’m here to help you every step of the way.
