I have always had a love for sports, but that is a common quote heard across young, aspiring broadcasters. I fell in love with reporting at a very young age, and attended the summer sports broadcasting programs at Hofstra University for several summers. Once completed, I worked as the public address announcer for Garden City High School for many sports (football, basketball, lacrosse), while also broadcasting games for a local sports media outlet, Varsity Media. Upon graduating high school, I enrolled in the esteemed S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, with a major in Broadcast & Digital Journalism, and a minor in Political Science.
I have had the opportunity to report in many ways at Syracuse, including working for The Daily Orange, the longest running student run newspaper in the country, and for NCC News, the student run TV and radio station at the Newhouse School. I was blessed to have had several exciting internship experiences, including working for Bruce Beck of NBC Sports NY for several summers. Additionally, I am currently interning with Foul Territory, one of the leading baseball media companies in the industry. I work in their sector of prep research and content creation, and am actively involved in daily live streams for them. I have been selected to represent the United States in July, as a member of the media team for the 2025 Maccabi Games, hosted in Israel. This will be a chance to connect with my Jewish heritage, and be a part of the select media team that will be broadcasting many different sports throughout the games. My responsibilities will include be doing play by play, color, sideline commentary, pre/post game and interviewing.
Upon graduating in May 2026 from Syracuse University, I am excited to take the skills developed at this incredible institution and put them to work. Sports is my passion, and although my dream is to work in sports, I look forward to seeing where this path as a journalist takes me. And most of all, I look forward to being in this field and growing through the ranks while establishing life long relationships and connections for a successful career.
