The elective of the research was to understand what a designer or architect can use carbon calculation on buildings. It questions how we are restricted on design innovation because of the demand on materials for the client to request for the building. We explored on various carbon calculator tools and assessed the outcomes of materials. We benchmarked using existing LCA tools and explored a parametric Grasshopper script to design a user-friendly interface.
