Carlorful: Rethinking the Colorscape of Society
In 2021 I began to paint my car one piece at a time and document the process on TikTok. The response from the viewers is strong; and the opinions vary wildly! Through this project I have unintentionally stumbled upon a social taboo of standing out in the crowd. Coloring the world makes the unnoticed become noticed and makes the faceless masses suddenly rememberable. Take a look at the process here.
Green Fremont
In 2022, I answered a call for artists, and the City of Fremont chose my design for application via vinyl wrap on an electrical box located in the heart of Fremont. Centered around the theme of "going green," my design prominently features various facets of the city's environmentally conscious initiatives, such as the implementation of protected bike lanes, EV charging facilities, and the integration of renewable energy production.
