International Day of Education – Awareness Video

Personal Project

This project was to create an engaging video of awareness about the importance of education as a basic human right inspired by UNESCO’s International Day of Education. The video was made to appeal to a teenage audience and uses humour, research, real-world statistics and visual storytelling to tackle global inequalities in access to education.

I took care of the independent development of the concept, the research of the topic, the writing and recording of the script and the editing of the video with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Throughout this project I was able to improve my skills in video editing, storytelling and time management, and I was also able to experiment with creative techniques to communicate an important message effectively.
