We collect nothing. No accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no ads, no cloud upload.
No backend. We do not operate servers that receive your bill data.
Optional reminders use your device's local notification system only.
Delete anytime by removing bills in the app or uninstalling.
Izy Bill Planners ("we", "us", or "the app") is an offline bill tracking app for iOS and Android. It helps you track upcoming bills, mark them paid, and receive local reminders — all without an internet connection.
This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information. Because Izy Bill Planners is private by default, the app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you outside your own device.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores the following locally using Hive and SharedPreferences:
Bill details: name, amount, category, due date, recurrence, paid status, optional notes
App settings: currency symbol, reminder preferences, appearance (light/dark/system), week start day, haptic feedback, onboarding state
Reminder schedules: handled by your device's operating system notification APIs
This information never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (for example, by copying text or using device backup services managed by Apple or Google).
3. What we do NOT collect
Izy Bill Planners does not collect, store, or share:
Personal identity — no name, email, phone number, or user accounts
Financial account data — no bank login, card numbers, or payment processing
Analytics or usage data — no analytics SDKs or event tracking transmitted anywhere
Advertising identifiers — no ads and no ad SDKs
Location, contacts, or microphone — not requested or accessed
Cloud sync — no iCloud, Firebase, or other cloud backup operated by us
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties because we do not have access to your data.
The app is designed to work fully offline. Bill tracking, storage, and the in-app dashboard do not require an internet connection.
We do not operate a backend server for this app. Your bill data is not uploaded to us.
Notifications (iOS; Android POST_NOTIFICATIONS on Android 13+)
Optional local reminders for upcoming or due bills. You can disable reminders in Settings.
Reschedule local reminders after device restart.
Exact alarms (Android SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM)
Deliver scheduled reminders as close to the scheduled time as possible; the app falls back to inexact scheduling when exact alarms are unavailable.
Battery optimization request (Android)
Optional: lets you exempt the app from battery optimization so reminders can fire while the app is closed.
Bill data remains in the app's private storage on your device. We do not upload it to our servers.
When you enable bill reminders, the app schedules notifications on your device using the operating system's local notification APIs. Notifications are generated on-device and are not sent through our servers.
You can turn reminders off at any time in Settings.
All bill data is stored locally in the app's private storage (Hive).
Settings are stored locally (SharedPreferences).
We cannot access, retrieve, or recover your data remotely.
Protect your device with a passcode or PIN lock to keep your bill information private.
You can delete your data by:
Deleting individual bills in the app
Clearing app data in your device settings
After uninstall, all bills and settings stored by the app on that device are removed.
Izy Bill Planners is a general-purpose personal finance utility for adults. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. The version and effective date at the top show the current policy. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
