glTF animation exports/optimization

glTF/glb format optimization

export an animation, make it loop, recreate an existing animation

It's the thing I get most requests for. glTF has become a standard for web animations, VR, AR, game engines, and more. It's convenient and compact. But it has some limitations. through years of working on glTF and fbx animations, I gained the knowledge to overcome or work around most errors or glitches that you might deal with when exporting to glTF.

I also developed some techniques to massively reduce the file size of animations, in may cases make it less than 10% of the original size

Creative problem solving

the kind of projects that on first glance seems impossible, but I just get a fun idea that seems like it shouldn't work. I then keep obsessing about it for a while until I actually figure it out

Auto rig 3d particles

so you have a beautiful particle animation, and you want to export it to fbx or make it smaller, If only I could automatically convert its animation type to armature.

That is exactly what I thought, and through some creative thinking, I was able to use a combination of geometry nodes, constraints, and some Python code to allow me to do exactly that. seems unbelievable? try it yourself for free

String to float

Had the idea to make a split flap display automatically animated to any text input you give it. but text input is text, how can I turn that text into float values that I can use for geometry nodes.

well, I turned that text into curves, used a custom font to make sure every character is only one curve, extracted the length of that curve and finally mapped the length values into float values that I used

all within geometry nodes, no code, no external addons

Split flap displays

want to create a customizable animated split flap display, I got you covered

with geometry nodes, I created a setup that can convert text input into a split flap display animation complete with a wide range of customization from the size to the font on the display to even displaying images.
