The ImaBio Young Scientist Network aims at bringing together PhD students and post-docs from the imaging community in France and connect them around key topics in bio-imaging. Our goal is to offer specific opportunities to young researchers in terms of expertise/knowledge-transfer, training and networking. The network welcomes all young researchers whose interests fall within the topics covered by GdR ImaBio topics (microscopy for biology from the nano- to macro-scale).
We are holding our kick-off meeting on July 11th – 12th, 2019 at the Institut Curie in Paris. This conference is organized by and for students. We aim to provide a space for young researchers to discuss, debate and express themselves. We hope that this event will help to train and shape the scientists that will lead the way for the future of optical imaging for biology.
This 2-day event will gather students and postdocs all over France and from a diversity of scientific research backgrounds and interests. It will be comprised of scientific talks, four keynote lectures, short talks from students and 3’ elevator pitches, poster sessions, networking events in addition to career development workshops.
