Bem-vindos à página do IX EMEP - Encontro Mundial sobre o Ensino de Português! (#IXEMEP), uma organização da AOTP - American Organization of Teachers of Portuguese. Devido a preocupações com a situação global com o Covid-19, a organização tomou a precaução de cancelar o encontro presencial de 2020. Como alternativa, vamos usar as tecnologias de comunicação disponíveis para realizar virtualmente o IX EMEP - Encontro Mundial sobre o Ensino de Português nos dias 7 e 8 de agosto de 2020. A Comissão Científica escolheu cerca de 30 propostas sobre o ensino de português particularmente relevantes face às atuais condições e restrições de mobilidade que alunos e professores enfrentam. Este ano, vamos ter também duas oficinas pré-encontro, uma no dia 21 e outra no dia 31 de julho de 2020. Veja a página das oficinas e inscreva-se.

Como nos anos anteriores, o IX EMEP vai reunir professores da língua portuguesa de todo o mundo que trabalham no ensino de português como língua materna e não-materna, nos mais variados contextos, para promover um diálogo colaborativo e cooperativo entre todos. Online ou não, este encontro é sempre um espaço de inovação onde se apresentam e discutem projetos, materiais e novas estratégias de ensino e aprendizagem de português pelo mundo afora.

Os palestrante do IX EMEP terão a oportunidade de ver as suas comunicações publicadas em livro, depois de submetidas sem identificação e serem aprovadas por avaliadores anónimos.

Welcome to the website of the IX EMEP - World Meeting on Teaching Portuguese! (#IXEMEP), organized by the AOTP - American Organization of Teachers of Portuguese. Due to the concerns with the global situation of the Covid-19, the organization took the precaution of canceling our 2020 face-to-face events. As an alternative, we will use the available technologies of communication to virtually hold the IX EMEP - Encontro Mundial sobre o Ensino de Português on the 7 and 8 of August, 2020. The Scientific Committee chose around 30 proposals on the teaching Portuguese that are particularly relevant in view of the current conditions and mobility restrictions that both students and teachers are facing. This year, we will also have two pre-conference workshops, one on the 21st and the other on 31st of July, 2020. Check out the workshops page and sign up.

As in previous years, the IX EMEP will bring together teachers of Portuguese from all over the world who work in the teaching of Portuguese as a native and non-native language, working in the most varied contexts, to promote a collaborative and cooperative dialogue between all. Online or not, this conference is always a space for innovation where projects, materials and new strategies for teaching and learning Portuguese around the world are presented and discussed.

Presenters at the IX EMEP will have the opportunity to see their communications published in a book, after the text goes through a double-blind peer-review process.
