The first workshop on Computational linguistics and its applications to Arabic WCLAA 2017 aims to highlight the role of computational linguistics in promoting the use of Arabic in all aspects of modern life. This can be achieved by addressing a number of topics that concern theoretical and practical aspects dealing with Arabic language processing.
