IWcee23 – 11th International Workshop on Computational Economics and Econometrics aims at exploring the intersection of economics, econometrics and computation.
Tackling societal grand challenges requires counting on a solid knowledge basis.
Knowledge infrastructures, including large data repositories and integrated data, are key elements to run evidence-based studies supporting policy action.
The workshop welcomes papers on knowledge creation, diffusion, and framing by stressing how such mechanisms can help target proper policies. Computational models, including agent-based models and statistical/econometric models, are particularly welcome. Along with these, other papers dealing more in general with computational methods are also welcome.
You are invited to submit an extended abstract by 23rd April 2023.
A non-exhaustive list of topics of interest related to the analysis of the workshop subjects includes:
Applied micro and macro econometrics
Machine Learning
Network science
Spatial economics and econometrics
Time series analysis and forecasting techniques
Causal inference
Economic dynamics
Agent-based modelling
Artificial intelligence
Simulations
Robustness and sensitivity analysis
Bayesian statistics
Operational research methods
Control and game theory
